A place to slow down and breathe in the desert air
Sand Island Campground sits on a quiet stretch of the Colorado River in Bluff, Utah — a town that has been a crossroads for travelers for centuries. The Navajo call this place *Tse Bii' Ndzisgai*, meaning "where the stone is striped," and the name fits the towering canyon walls that frame our riverbank.
We built this campground for people who want more from their time outdoors. Not a theme park, not a resort — just a well-kept, easy-access place to park your rig, hang your tent, and step into some of the most dramatic landscape in the American Southwest.
